This Contemporary dance technique class, suitable for complete beginners and those looking to develop their dance techniques, builds confidence, strength, stamina, and coordination with an emphasis on floor work and finding fluidity in movement.

Contemporary dance is a style of interpretive dance that blends techniques from various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, modern, and lyrical.

Dancers will be taught a variety of contemporary dance movements and work on building routines with their new skills.

If you are aged between 8-11, come along and have a go, no experience of contemporary dance necessary. Classes are a progressive route into Evolve technique and Evolve Youth Dance Company, our advanced level Contemporary Youth Dance Company.

Classes take place at OneNK, North Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6 9AX and run-in term time only. Classes run on Thursdays 4:30-5:15pm.
