This year’s RiverLight Parade inspired by the Summer Solstice, marks the turning of the seasons. Participants take to the streets in celebration of ancient connections to the landscape through wind, water, earth and fire. Spot the crowd of millers looking forward to the harvest, and the Green Lady representing the bounty of the Earth. Watch the Firebird leaping over midsummer bonfires for good luck and look out for the Lady of the Well leading her water-sprites through the moonlight of local folklore.

Artists include: Lumo Workshop, Autin Dance Theatre, BFCH Clansband Drummers, Emily Cartwright Performers: Sessions Arts, Creative Heights and Laura Hudson Participating schools & groups include: Hub Youth Dance & Unify, Circus Starlight, Sleaford Little Theatre Youth Academy, Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Primary School, William Alvey C of E School, Osbournby Primary School and Kesteven & Sleaford High School.
