Beneath the Surface: Material and Meaning 

Unwind in the calm of the Hub Main Gallery. Bring your sketchbook, journal or simply enjoy a mindful exploration of the exhibition in a peaceful atmosphere. 

Additional Information

• This is a self-led activity
• Basic drawing materials and drawing boards are provided
• You are welcome to drop-in to the gallery and stay for as long as you like between 11am - 3pm
• A Visitor Experience Assistant will be in the gallery at all times if you need any assistance

Access Information - Main Gallery

When you enter the Hub, head to the shop reception and a Visitor Experience Assistant will be able to show you where to go.

The main gallery is on the first floor. Step - free access is available via a lift.

Bench seating and stools are available. 

The lighting in this exhibition is kept to 50 Lux to preserve the colours in the artworks.
