Printmaker Sinclair Ashman will guide you through a fascinating day of making unique and colourful ink-on-paper prints. You will make prints using the simple ‘collagraph’ method. Printing plates are made by fixing materials onto a board, into which you can make marks with your hands or various metal or plastic tools.

The plates are then inked using your choice from the available colours and printed using a small press. You will go away from the day with the following:

10 or more prints at approx. 21cm x 15cm

a number of printing plates that you can use again

knowledge of the collagraph method that you can use in future workshops
