Accessibility Statement for the Hub
This is an accessibility statement from the Hub.
Measures to support accessibility
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of the Hub:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff
- Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Hub is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the Hub, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for the Hub :
Missing alt text: Some of the pictures on our website don’t have alt text that describes the image. We are working on adding alt text to all the images.
H1 headings: Some pages are missing H1 headings. We are working on correcting this with our web developers.
Order of headings: Some of the pages on our website have headings that are not grouped correctly. We are currently working on fixing this issue.
PDF downloads: Not all our PDF’s have been checked for accessibility. We are working on this and will provide alternative formats where possible.
Error messages: Some of the error messages on our forms are not accessible. We are working with our web developers to fix this. Call us on 01529 308710 and we can assist you.
