Drop-In Indian Wood Block Printing Experience

Drop-in to the Activity Hub this October Half Term for a relaxed family printing session led by exhibitor Madhu Manipatruni. Using traditional hand‑carved Indian woodblocks, you’ll explore colour, pattern and simple mandala designs. Try out different blocks, experiment together and print your own cotton textile square to take home. A gentle, hands‑on activity perfect for all ages.
What will I take away with me?
Your finished print on a square piece of cotton fabric.

- There is no need to book this session is drop-in between 10.30am - 12.30pm
- During busy periods there may be a short wait.

Access Information - Activity Hub
There is step-free access to the Activity Hub which is located within our Main Gallery on the first floor.
There will be some background noise in the gallery from films playing but this is kept to a minimum.
A gallery invigilator will be situated in the gallery along with artist Madhu Maniputrani and a member of the Hub team.
