Artist Call Out

Thu 22 Jan 2026

Hub Sleaford and Sleaford Museum are inviting artists to take part in Common Ground: Sleaford’s Shared Stories; a dual-site exhibition and engagement programme exploring local heritage through new perspectives.

We’re looking for artists who want to work with museum collections, local communities and lived experience, asking: who and what has been historically excluded from local heritage and cultural spaces, and how can we actively change that?

Two opportunities available (apply for one or both):

Strand 1: Three Commissions for New Work

Strand 2: Three Artist Residencies

How To Apply

Please submit your images and written submission through the online form HERE by midday on Mon 23 Feb

If you have specific access needs that make the submission process difficult for you, or would like to submit using another format please email us to discuss this on
exhibitions@hub-sleaford.org.uk

The Hub and Sleaford Museum recognises that some artists face structural barriers as a result of disability, gender or gender expression, socio-economic backgrounds, sexuality, age, ethnic origin, religion, pregnancy and experience of migration. We particularly encourage applications from artists from historically under-served groups.

Application Support Session

If you need assistance or have any questions with your application, we will host an informal application support session on Wed 18 Feb , 6 - 7pm. This will be hosted via Google Meet. If you have any further questions, please contact Joshua Lockwood, Exhibitions Manager joshua@hub-sleaford.org.uk
