Applications are open for our Christmas Contemporary Makers Market on Sat 21 & Sun 22 Nov 2026. The Pop-Up Market will take place in the Hub’s Main Gallery, the largest space for showcasing craft and design in the UK. Alongside this there will be family activities and workshops making it a vibrant and festive experience for everyone visiting.

Criteria

We are looking for makers of craft, design, objects, accessories, homewares and artisanal produce, creating original and exciting work of a high quality. All applications will be selected with consideration given to price, quality of making and standard of product. We regret we cannot provide feedback on unsuccessful applications.

Cost

Earlybird Offer:
£100 + VAT for the whole weekend - Deadline Wed 27 May 2026
£125 + VAT for the whole weekend - Deadline Wed 29 July 2026

The cost includes:

A 6ft x 3ft table with white tablecloth
Two chairs per stall
Electricity provision, if required
Marketing via the Hub’s social media (21k followers), social media advertising and promotion via the Hub’s website, Atrium TV, newsletter and mailing list
Professional photography on the day of the event
Complimentary drinks and snacks during the day

Logistics

The Makers Market will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm on both days. Set up will begin at 8am and take down will be from 4-5pm. All event spaces are indoors and fully accessible with access to toilets, WIFI and electricity. Further logistical information will be provided to all exhibitors following selection.

FAQ’s

Can I apply for one day instead of the whole weekend?
Priority will be given to those who would like a stall for the 2 days. If you can only do one day make this clear in your application and/or email.

I would like to share a stall with someone, is this ok?
Yes you can apply for a stall share, both makers will need to be successful in the selection. Please make this clear in your application/s

Does your Makers Market run on the same weekend as Sleaford Christmas Market?
No. This year they are on a different weekend.

If I apply for the EarlyBird when will I find out if I have been selected?
We will review applications soon after the deadline of 27th May and will let you know if you are successful.

How many stallholders will there be?
32 - 35 stallholders

What kind of products are you looking for?
Handmade craft & design, homewares, accessories and artisanal produce. This can include food; pastries, bakery, preserves etc.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
Inside in our main gallery on the first floor.

I have access requirements, can I still apply?
