Top 5 Things to do at the Hub this Summer

Mon 17 Jul 2023

We’ve got so much to look forward to this Summer at the Hub, here are just a few reasons to join us this season!

1. Lend us your object, tell us their stories and be part of Together we are Powerful

From Sat Jul 22, to Sun Nov 12, we are hosting a remarkable exhibition, Together We Are Powerful, that will take over our Main Gallery and spread throughout Sleaford. But here’s the exciting part—we need YOUR help to bring it to life. We’re asking you to lend YOUR objects, to be a part of this extraordinary showcase.

We want to include anything that holds a special story or memory for you. It could be a keepsake from a past relationship, a token of a cherished moment, or something that represents your proudest achievements. And since summer is just around the corner, why not think about those souvenirs and unforgettable holiday memories? Do you have something in mind? Fantastic! Just bring it to the Hub and tell us the unique story behind it.

2. Take part in one of our creative activities

We’ve got a packed summer programme coming up of both paid for events and workshops, as well of plenty of self-led activities to take part in. In the coming days we be launching our brand new season!

Keep an eye on our events page and social media for all the details and to book your place.

3. Enjoy an Arts & Heritage walk around Sleaford

Why not explore the Hub and Sleaford through one of our arts & history trails?

When in Sleaford is a 3-mile walking trail is inspired by the rich heritage of Sleaford. It features eighteen bronze roundels, created by artist David Mackie, that are sited in pavements and on walls around the town. Each roundel acts as a way-marker, mapping out pathways that reveal public artworks, historical sites and visitor attractions.
