What will I learn? 

JumpStart is a Breakdance class for ages 11-18. Dancers will have the opportunity to learn the foundations of Breaking. The four main elements of Breaking are toprock, footwork, power moves, and freezes. This style of dance encourages a mixture of athleticism and creativity. Beginners welcome. If you are new please contact dance@hub-sleaford.org.uk to arrange a trial lesson. 

Please note, this class runs in term-time only and takes place at the One NK Centre, North Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6 9AX.

The class will include:

• Warm up 
• Technique
• Choreography
• Cool Down and reflection 

Do I need to bring anything with me? 

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in e.g. leggings/shorts and a tshirt and trainers. Bring a bottle of water, this can be refilled at One NK 

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. All abilities are welcome, the class will cater for individual needs of participants.

Access Information 

There is a large free car park at One NK

When you enter One NK, head to the reception and a staff member will let you through the barriers. 

The studio is on the first floor, you can see a picture of the room below. A staff member will show you to the studio.

Lift or stair access is available.

The studio is temperature controlled and well lit.

There are toilet facilities on the ground and first floors. You will have access to two disabled toilets.

You are welcome to take drinks into the studio.
