What will I learn?
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of crochet: two different techniques to holding the yarn and hook, chains, UK double crochet, turning at the end of a row, and slip stitch to fasten off.
Once the basics are in place, the focus will shift to establishing a consistent stitch count and tension to create a small swatch which can be extended into a scarf.
What will I take away with me?
You will take home the remainder of your ball of yarn, hook and panel. Continue to make your scarf at home!
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Hooks and yarn provided, just bring yourself!
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. All are welcome.
