Two left feet welcome! Our pop-up ballroom workshop will introduce you to the basics of waltz, foxtrot and tango. Led by a Hub Dance team member, come on your own or with a partner and give it a whirl.

The class will include:

• Introduction
• Group teaching a waltz, foxtrot and tango basic
• Tea/coffee break
• Time to practise the moves in couples or individually in small groups with support from the instructor 

Do I need to bring anything with me/clothing? 

Comfortable clothing and footwear. 

Is it suitable for beginners? 

This class is aimed at complete beginners. 

About the Artist/Facilitator 

Abbi Thompson, with over 15 years of teaching dance and fitness and a lifelong passion for dance since age three, is a dedicated community Dance Artist.​ She holds a range of dance and fitness qualifications, complemented by a degree in psychology and a decade of experience in care. Abbi has worked as a performer, choreographer, director and producer in a variety of community settings, and is an advocate for lifelong learning. 

Access Information - Studio

When you enter the Hub, head to the shop reception and a Visitor Experience Assistant will be able to show you to the room.

The studio is on the ground floor, you can see a picture of the room below.

The studio is temperature controlled and well lit.

You are close to all toilet facilities, also on the ground floor. You will have access to two disabled toilets.

You are welcome to take drinks into the studio.
