Craft Club

Mon 10, 24 Nov, 1 – 3pm

£5, 55yrs+,

What will I learn?

The Craft Club is a Craft Council’s initiative to bring like-minded people together; giving people the opportunity to spend time with friends, meet new people and build a real sense of community through making together. Crafts can be good for relaxation and some studies have shown that crafting can improve your well-being. Many adults have found that being creative has helped to improve their confidence through exploring different skills and materials and being able to express themselves in different ways.

We have done a number of activities including making festoons for the RiverLight festival, a project and exhibition with Sleaford’s Twinning Society, textiles, pottery, printing and more.

What will I take away with me?

Usually working on a collaborative project and making small samples to take home.

Additional Information

Refreshments are provided.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

No, just bring yourself.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. All are welcome.
