What will I learn? 

Join us for this hands-on workshop for those with some knowledge of crochet. Hook and loop your way into the timeless art of granny squares. Create colourful squares and leave with the skills to continue with your own crochet project. 

What will I take away with me?

You will take home the remainder of your ball of yarn and the granny squares you have made. Continue to make more squares at home and join to make a scarf, blanket or top, the options are limitless!

Do I need to bring anything with me? 

Hooks and yarn provided, just bring yourself.

Is it suitable for beginners?

No. You need to have a basic knowledge of crochet before taking part. 

About the Artist/Facilitator 

Evelyn is an independent artist and jeweller based in Sleaford. She tests crochet patterns and makes bold designs which she sells through her Instagram @hunstons_hooking

Access Information - Workshop

When you enter the Hub, head to the shop reception and a Visitor Experience Assistant will be able to show you to the room.

The workshop is on the ground floor, you can see a picture of the room below.

The workshop is temperature controlled and well lit.

You are close to all toilet facilities, also on the ground floor. You will have access to two disabled toilets.

You are welcome to take drinks or snacks into the workshop if required.
