This workshop is fully booked for the current season. If you want to be added on to the email list for new dates please email bookings@hub-sleaford.org.uk.
What will I learn?
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to crochet a Granny square: two different techniques to start off called the magic ring and chain method, UK treble crochet in granny clusters, shaping corners, turning to keep a straight square and slip stitch to fasten off.
Once the basics are in place, the focus will shift to the different things we can make with granny squares!
What will I take away with me?
You will take home the remainder of your ball of yarn, hook and the granny squares you have made. Continue to make more squares at home and join to make a scarf, blanket or top, the options are limitless!
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Hooks and yarn provided, just bring yourself!
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. All are welcome.
