What will I learn?
Create a textile scroll through slow hand stitching and thoughtful composition based on memory of your childhood home. The workshop begins with a visit to Common Ground: Sleaford’s Shared Stories Exhibition, followed by making a small stitch sampler to explore techniques. In the second half, you’ll develop your textile scroll by choosing fabrics, building layers, and stitching your own memory of home in thread.
What will I take away with me?
A 16 X 40 cm textile scroll.
