About the Films

The Story of Plastic - Learn how the mass production of single-use plastic has put us in the biggest environmental crisis in history. 

Rivercide - In 60 action-packed minutes, the world’s first live investigative documentary will attempt to find out who is polluting our rivers and why we’re not stopping them. Presented by environmental journalist George Monbiot and directed by Age of Stupid’s Franny Armstrong, with live music from Charlotte Church. 

The Wash: Britain’s Secret Wilderness - The film showcases the beauty and significance of The Wash, a dynamic estuary that evolves through the seasons, while exploring the delicate balance between conservation and human activity. Directed and produced by Chris Weston, a wildlife photographer with more than 20 years of experience, the film is described as a ‘homecoming’ project as Weston grew up in Frampton. The Age of Stupid - It’s the year 2055 and the world has been ravaged by climate change. London is underwater, Sydney is on fire and nuclear war has turned India into a wasteland. An archivist looks back at old footage from the year 2008 to understand why humankind failed to address climate change. From the director of McLibel and starring Pete Postlethwaite, this bold, provocative film  warns of the dire consequences of our failure to stop climate change.

The Hub is proud to be working in partnership with Sleaford Climate Action Network (Sleaford CAN) to present this Film Series. Sleaford CAN is a network of people and groups working together to keep the planet safe and habitable for all the children of the future. Their aim is to help people be the change that is needed.

Access Information - Studio

When you enter the Hub, head to the shop reception and a Visitor Experience Assistant will be able to show you to the room.

The workshop is on the ground floor, you can see a picture of the room below. Chairs will be set out for the films, which will be shown on the big TV screen on the wall.

The workshop is temperature controlled and well lit.

You are close to all toilet facilities, also on the ground floor. You will have access to two disabled toilets.

You are welcome to take drinks or snacks into the studio if required.
