What will I learn? 

A fun dance class suitable for ages 7-11. The group will explore all the dance styles we offer (Contemporary and Street Dance styles including Breakdance) and include creative tasks and games, as well as learning structured routines. If you are new please contact dance@hub-sleaford.org.uk to arrange a trial lesson. 

Please note, this class runs in term-time only and takes place at the One NK Centre, North Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6 9AX.

The class will include:

• Warm up and Movement Games
• Centre technique and travelling exercises
• Creative tasks
• Taught dance routines
• Cool Down
• Reflection

Do I need to bring anything with me? 

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in e.g. leggings/shorts and a t-shirt and trainers. Bring a bottle of water, this can be refilled at One NK. 

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. All abilities are welcome, the class will cater for individual needs of participants. 

About the Artist/Facilitator 

Rebecca Cram has been dancing and performing from a young age in a variety of dance styles such as ballet, tap, contemporary and street dance. She has completed an undergraduate degree and a masters in dance at the University of Lincoln as well as gaining teaching qualifications through the International Dance Teachers Association and has been teaching across Lincolnshire for over 13 years. 

Access Information - One NK Ground Floor Studio

There is a large free car park at One NK

When you enter One NK, head to the reception and a staff member will let you through the barriers. 

The studio is on the ground floor, you can see a picture of the room below. A staff member will show you to the studio.

The studio is temperature controlled and well lit.

There are toilet facilities on the ground and first floors. You will have access to two disabled toilets.

You are welcome to take drinks into the studio.
