What will I learn?
Spend a creative and restorative evening immersed in the art of life drawing. Guided by artist and tutor Kelly, this welcoming workshop will gently lead you through a series of exercises designed to loosen up your mark-making, build confidence, and help your compositions flow naturally. Working from a live model in a relaxed and supportive studio setting, you’ll explore expressive drawing techniques using charcoal, graphite, and a range of supplied materials. From energetic quick sketches to longer observational studies, the day offers space to slow down, look closely, and develop your own unique approach to figure drawing.
What will I take away with me?
You will take away a range of drawings from the session.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
All materials are provided. An art folder is useful to take away your drawings otherwise you can roll them up.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Suitable for all abilities, this workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike looking to reconnect with drawing from life.
