What will I learn?
RedX is our Street Dance Company for ages 15-18. The group covers the foundations and progressions of Street Dance techniques. The company offers a safe and supportive environment for young people of Secondary age to explore their creativity and work as a company to make dance pieces for performance. Please email dance@hub-sleaford.co.uk to book a free trial class.
As a member of Red X Street Dance Company you will have additional opportunities to share your work at various events in Lincolnshire and across the East Midlands. Company members are required to commit to a minimum of 3 opportunities per year

- Unify Festival
- True Motion
- U.Dance on Screen
- RiverLight Festival
- Choreographic Platforms
Please note, this class runs in term-time only and takes place at One NK Centre, North Hykeham, Lincoln LN6 9AX.
The class will include:
- Warm up and mobilisation exercises
- Technique and travelling exercises
- Creative tasks
- Performance prep and rehearsals
- Cool Down
- Reflection
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in e.g. leggings/shorts and a tshirt and trainers. Bring a bottle of water, this can be refilled at One NK.
Is it suitable for beginners?
This class is aimed at those with enthusiasm for dance and who are ready to commit to regular training and performances. All abilities are welcome.
About the Artist/Facilitator
Amy is an acclaimed choreographer and community dance artist with over 15 years of experience leading innovative arts projects across Lincolnshire. Holding both a BA(Hons) and a Master’s in Choreography from the University of Lincoln, she has created and performed works for national touring companies and local arts organisations, while spearheading award-winning community performances at festivals and public platforms. Amy now teaches a diverse range of dance styles across the county, empowering the next generation of dancers and artists throughout Lincolnshire.
Access Information - One NK First Floor Studio
There is a large free car park at One NK
When you enter One NK, head to the reception and a staff member will let you through the barriers.
The studio is on the first floor, you can see a picture of the room below. A staff member will show you to the studio.
Lift or stair access is available.
The studio is temperature controlled and well lit.
There are toilet facilities on the ground and first floors. You will have access to two disabled toilets.
You are welcome to take drinks into the studio.
